The Client
Before Sprint merged with T-Mobile US in 2020, it was the fourth-largest mobile network operator in the United States, serving 54.3 million customers.
The Challenge
With Sprint’s frequently changing mobile data plans, payment options, and promotions, it was easy for salespeople to make a mistake and misquote a customer on their new plan. Naturally, customers were not happy to find discrepancies when their bills arrived.
Sprint needed an easier way for their salespeople to build more accurate quotes and, ultimately, serve their customers better.
The Solution
Neon Rain created a two-part sales tool to help Sprint sales teams — across retail, business, and wholesale — gain more mobile users.
First, Neon Rain created a comparison system that would allow the salesperson to compare a customer's existing plan on any carrier to the Sprint options available, so they could easily communicate the advantages of switching to Sprint.
Next, Neon Rain created an automatic quote system that took the salesperson through a multi-step process to choose devices, plans, accessories, and promotions, and then produce a real-time, accurate quote for the customer.
The new system was highly efficient and significantly reduced errors across Sprint sales teams.
